Who I Am

My name is Marzanne Jv Rensburg, and I am a qualified Medical Orthotist and Prosthetist, as well as a certified Lymphoedema Therapist. With a strong passion for patient-centred care, I have built my practice around accessibility, empathy, and expertise. My primary focus lies in the management of breast cancer-related conditions and lymphoedema, fields in which I have developed deep knowledge and practical experience.

Unlike traditional clinics, I operate as a mobile orthotist, offering my services across various locations in the Western Cape. These include consultation rooms in Cape Town, Bellville, and Diep River. In addition, I attend to patients at several cancer centres and hospitals, depending on their individual needs. This flexible approach allows me to meet patients where they are—both geographically and emotionally—ensuring convenience and continuity of care.

Breast Cancer-Related Support

My practice provides post-surgical orthotic support for women undergoing breast cancer treatment. I understand the physical and emotional toll this journey can take. That’s why I work closely with patients to fit breast prostheses, compression bras, and garments designed to support recovery and improve quality of life. I prioritise comfort, discretion, and functionality in every product and fitting.

Lymphoedema Therapy

Managing lymphoedema requires skill, patience, and tailored solutions. As a certified therapist, I offer both preventative strategies and ongoing treatment plans to help patients manage swelling and discomfort. I supply and fit medical-grade compression garments and educate patients on techniques such as manual lymph drainage and skin care. My goal is always to reduce symptoms and improve mobility.

Mobile Orthotic Services

Mobility shouldn’t limit access to care. I extend my services to hospitals, cancer centres, and private homes throughout the region. Whether someone is recovering from surgery or unable to travel easily, I strive to bring professional support directly to them. This mobile approach sets my practice apart and allows for timely, compassionate interventions.
