About Merrick

Merrick has over 40 years of experience as an orthotist. He qualified in 1981 through the Health Commission of NSW after completing a four-year course and practical training at the University of Sydney. Merrick has worked in both private and public hospitals, gaining valuable knowledge and skills along the way.

He specialises in adult and paediatric spinal cases. In addition, Merrick trains and measures clients for Dynamic Movement Orthoses (DMO), which help improve mobility and support. Since 2004, he has been a co-founder of Korthotics, where he plays a key role in delivering personalised orthotic care.
