Description

Ministry of Health and Prevention CBT

The Ministry of Health and Prevention CBT UAE provides cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and psychoeducation across federal health facilities. We ensure mental health support for all in the UAE. Our services help people manage distress, build coping skills, and improve well‑being.

What is CBT and Psychoeducation

  • CBT is a form of therapy where we change unhelpful thinking and behaviours.

  • Psychoeducation means teaching people about mental health, symptoms, and how to manage triggers.

  • We combine both so clients learn and use practical tools.

Where Services Are Available

We offer these services in major MOHAP facilities across Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah. Each location has trained mental health professionals. Appointments occur in outpatient clinics in MOHAP hospitals or health centres.

Who Provides the Care

  • Licensed psychologists

  • Psychiatrists

  • Mental health therapists

  • Trained counsellors

Each professional works with clients to tailor the care plan. They use simple language, and check understanding often.

How to Access Services

To access services:

  1. Call MOHAP’s main contact number.

  2. Visit a local MOHAP health clinic.
