Welcome to my practice. I’m Miranda Webb, a qualified Counsellor and Psychotherapist based in Cardiff. Reaching out for therapy is a big step, and I’m here to offer the support you need. I aim to help you better understand your emotional distress or personal difficulties and work through them.
I don’t believe there’s something ‘wrong’ with a person. Instead, I see emotional challenges as responses to life’s experiences. By understanding how we’ve adapted to survive and cope, we can start making sense of these emotions and bring about positive change.
As an integrative psychotherapist, I blend different therapeutic approaches to best meet your needs. I use elements from humanistic, psychodynamic, and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). If you’re unsure about these approaches, feel free to read more about them here. Ultimately, the goal is to work in a way that’s effective for you, ensuring you feel heard and supported.
I provide a confidential, non-judgmental space where you can express yourself freely. I strive to foster trust and create a warm, respectful environment for our work together.
I offer various counselling and psychotherapy services, tailored to your unique needs. Whether you want to address specific emotional challenges or simply explore your feelings, I’m here to support you.
Anxiety and stress can feel overwhelming. Together, we’ll explore the causes of your anxiety, how it impacts your life, and how to manage it. Using integrative techniques, I’ll help you build resilience and learn strategies to cope.
Depression can be isolating. In our sessions, we’ll examine the underlying factors contributing to your low mood. With compassion and support, we’ll work towards helping you overcome negative feelings and develop healthier coping mechanisms.
Relationship challenges can cause great strain. I help individuals and couples explore issues affecting communication and connection. We’ll work together to improve understanding, resolve conflicts, and foster healthier relationships.
Trauma and loss can deeply affect how we view ourselves and the world. I support clients in processing these experiences, finding self-compassion, and healing. Therapy can help you understand how past events impact the present and guide you toward recovery.
If you struggle with low self-esteem, I offer a safe space to explore the root causes. Together, we’ll identify negative thought patterns and create strategies to boost your confidence and self-worth.
If you seek personal growth, therapy provides a supportive space for self-exploration. Whether you face uncertainty or desire greater fulfilment, we’ll work on aligning your actions with your values and goals.
I offer both in-person therapy in Cardiff and online sessions for added convenience. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I am here to guide and support you as we work toward your goals.
I hold professional indemnity insurance and am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I adhere to their Ethical Framework for Good Practice, ensuring therapy is delivered in a safe and professional manner.
If you’re ready to begin your journey towards emotional understanding and change, please contact me for an initial consultation. We can discuss how to move forward and explore the best approach for your needs.
