MOTIONrehab is a leading neurological rehabilitation provider, offering expert care across Yorkshire and Humberside. For over 18 years, our team has helped individuals with neurological conditions regain mobility, restore independence and improve their quality of life. Founded by Sarah Daniel in 2007, MOTIONrehab began by delivering specialist neuro physiotherapy in private clinics and patients’ homes. Since then, we have continued to grow and innovate within the field.

From the beginning, we introduced ground-breaking services such as the region’s first NHS Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) outreach clinic. We also began accepting referrals from the medico-legal sector, further enhancing our reputation for excellence. In 2017, we rebranded as MOTIONrehab to reflect our commitment to advanced rehabilitation techniques and client-centred care.

In April 2018, we opened the UK’s first Intensive Neurological Rehabilitation Centre in Leeds. This innovation blended robotics with expert physiotherapy, setting new standards for neurological recovery. The Financial Times, Google, and European policymakers quickly recognised our approach, naming us one of Europe’s top digital innovators.

Following this success, we expanded our reach. In 2020, we opened our second centre in Hull, followed by a third in Doncaster in 2024. These clinics now serve a growing population seeking faster, more effective rehabilitation.

We also receive referrals from the NHS and the medico-legal sector, and we welcome international clients. In addition, we collaborate with the University of Leeds on research and contribute globally through presentations in Finland, Austria, and beyond.
