Move Physio and Pilates Stirling has been providing expert physiotherapy services in Stirlingshire since January 2025. Originally, the clinic opened in Bangor, Northern Ireland, in May 2021. After more than three and a half successful years, it relocated to Scotland. In November 2024, Move Physio and Pilates found a perfect space in Kings Park, Stirling. This space combines a physiotherapy clinic and Pilates studio.
The clinic focuses on a holistic approach. It aims not only to relieve pain but also to empower clients to regain control of their lives. The physiotherapists at Move are highly qualified. They are registered with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Their commitment is to provide personalised and professional care.

Move Physio and Pilates offers a variety of physiotherapy and Pilates services. These are designed to treat many physical conditions and support overall wellbeing. The treatments are tailored to each person’s needs. They combine hands-on therapy, education, and exercise prescription.
Key services include:
Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy: Treatment for injuries and chronic pain affecting muscles, joints, and bones. It involves manual techniques and movement analysis.
Women’s Health Physiotherapy: Care for pelvic floor issues, pre- and post-natal recovery, menopause support, and related concerns.
Pilates Classes: Led by APPI-certified instructors. These include general physio-led Pilates, ante- and post-natal Pilates, and Pilates for menopause. These classes improve strength, flexibility, and posture.
Manual Therapy: Includes spinal joint mobilisation, trigger point therapy, connective tissue release, and postural energetics. These methods help improve mobility and reduce pain.
Exercise Prescription: Custom exercise plans to aid recovery, improve function, and prevent injury.
Massage Therapy: Helps relieve muscle tension and promote relaxation.
Gillian Stewart, the clinic owner and lead physiotherapist, brings over 10 years of experience. She has worked in both the private sector and the NHS. Her broad skill set and understanding of the links between pain and mental health allow her to create holistic and effective treatment plans.
