About Natasha Krystyna Counselling

Welcome to Natasha Krystyna Counselling, where therapeutic support is available both online and in person. My name is Natasha, and I am a person-centred therapeutic counsellor. I offer face-to-face sessions in Apperley Bridge, Bradford, and online sessions to clients from any location. Whether you are struggling with low mood, relationship issues, or any form of emotional distress, I am here to support you through a confidential, non-judgemental, and safe environment.

Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially when intrusive thoughts or difficult emotions take centre stage. Relationships may become strained, and self-doubt can take root. Sometimes, those closest to us may not understand what we’re going through, making it even harder to navigate our emotions. My role as a counsellor is to provide a listening ear and help you make sense of these feelings, enabling you to explore them in a way that leads to healing.

Services Offered

Person-Centred Counselling

As a person-centred counsellor, my approach is based on the belief that you are the expert in your own life. My role is to listen to you without judgement, allowing you to express your thoughts and feelings freely. Through our sessions, we will work together to explore the difficulties you’re facing and identify the best path forward. My aim is to create a space where you feel valued, heard, and understood. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, or self-esteem issues, I am here to support you.

Online and Face-to-Face Sessions

I offer both online and face-to-face counselling sessions to suit your preference and lifestyle. Online sessions allow for flexibility and convenience, while face-to-face appointments in Apperley Bridge offer the opportunity for a more personal connection. Regardless of the medium, the therapeutic space is safe, confidential, and designed to help you explore and overcome life’s challenges.

Relationship Counselling

Relationships can often become a source of strain or confusion, especially when boundaries are not properly established or respected. If you find yourself in controlling or abusive relationships, therapy can help rebuild your sense of self. I work with clients to explore these dynamics, helping you understand how these relationships may have affected your emotional wellbeing and assisting you in establishing healthy boundaries.

The First Steps in Therapy

Starting therapy can be a big decision, and I understand that it may feel daunting at first. The first step is simply recognising that therapy is right for you. After that, it is important to choose a therapist with whom you feel comfortable. I recommend beginning by sending an enquiry email to gather more information, helping you determine whether I am the right fit for your needs. Building a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship is essential for a successful counselling journey.

Getting Started with Therapy

The first session will be an exploratory meeting where we discuss what has brought you to therapy and any goals you may have. Sometimes, clients are unsure of what they want to address, and that’s perfectly fine. We can work together to identify areas for improvement, such as managing stress, improving relationships, or processing past experiences.

Once we’ve established your goals, we will agree on how we’ll work together, including the frequency of sessions (weekly or fortnightly). At the end of an initial six sessions, we will review the progress made and assess whether further sessions are necessary.
