At Physioleeds Leeds, we offer dedicated musculoskeletal physiotherapy services designed to help you move better, recover faster, and stay pain-free. Our clinic in Crossgates provides personalised care with a hands-on approach that gets to the root of your problem rather than simply treating symptoms.
Leading the team is Simon Glover, a BUPA-approved Chartered Physiotherapist with over 15 years of experience. Since graduating from Nottingham University in 2000, Simon has specialised in treating back pain, neck pain, and sports-related injuries. He’s also a member of the Association of Physiotherapists in Occupational Health and Ergonomics, offering expert ergonomic assessments to help patients stay injury-free at work.
Additionally, Simon is completing a Postgraduate Certificate in First Contact Practice (FCP). This qualification strengthens his ability to diagnose musculoskeletal and non-musculoskeletal conditions and make appropriate referrals for blood tests, scans, or consultant opinions.
Simon uses manual therapy, including soft tissue massage and joint mobilisation, to treat pain and restore function. He often uses ultrasound as a supporting tool. After each session, he provides tailored exercises to help prevent injuries from returning. This practical approach encourages long-term improvement rather than short-term fixes.
As a marathon runner, triathlete, and golf club member, Simon understands the demands of sport. He applies that insight when creating customised recovery plans for runners, golfers, and other athletes. These plans support both rehabilitation and performance enhancement.
To reduce work-related discomfort, Simon offers expert ergonomic evaluations. These assessments identify poor workstation habits and recommend practical adjustments that support better posture and reduce strain.
Senior Physiotherapist Stephen Draycott brings over 30 years of experience. He focuses on knee injuries, particularly those caused by sport and overuse. His advanced training includes Mulligan and Neurodynamic techniques, and he has worked extensively in rheumatology and orthopaedic clinics.
Jennie Glover, a highly qualified physiotherapist, leads Pilates classes in Colton every Tuesday evening. With a master’s in rehabilitation and full accreditation from the APPI, Jennie integrates clinical Pilates into recovery plans to build core strength, improve posture, and prevent future injuries.
Our physiotherapy team maintains high standards by regularly attending training sessions and contributing to educational events. In fact, Stephen has frequently spoken at postgraduate training workshops, including the MSK Made Easy course for junior clinicians.
At Physioleeds Leeds, we believe that effective treatment begins with understanding the root cause. That’s why we personalise every session to your condition, goals, and lifestyle. From the initial consultation to your final exercise plan, you’ll receive attentive, expert care.
