My Therapeutic Approach

  • Person-Centred Therapy – Offering empathetic, non-judgemental support that places the client’s voice at the centre of the therapeutic relationship.

  • Existential Therapy – Exploring meaning, self-awareness and personal responsibility in the face of life’s challenges.

  • Narrative Therapy – Helping clients reshape the personal stories they tell about themselves, to promote healing and positive change.

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) – Equipping clients with practical tools to manage unhelpful thought patterns and behaviours.

  • Mindfulness Techniques – Cultivating present-moment awareness to reduce stress, improve emotional regulation and promote well-being.

Services Offered

Depression & Anxiety Support

Difficult life circumstances, uncertainty and global events can often contribute to the development of depression and anxiety. If you are struggling with motivation, persistent sadness, fear or overwhelming worry, therapy can offer a path toward regaining perspective and restoring emotional balance. Cheryl provides a supportive, professional space for you to process your experiences and begin the journey of healing.

Trauma & Post-Traumatic Stress

Traumatic life events can leave lasting emotional scars, often leading to anxiety, fear, emotional numbness or hopelessness. Cheryl works alongside clients to acknowledge and process these experiences in a safe environment. Through therapeutic support, she guides individuals through the complexities of trauma recovery, helping them rebuild resilience and rediscover meaning and connection.

Marital & Family Counselling

Relationships are at the core of human well-being, but they can be a source of significant stress during periods of difficulty. Cheryl offers professional counselling for couples and families facing conflict, communication breakdown or major life transitions. Sessions focus on fostering understanding, emotional safety, and collaborative problem-solving, empowering clients to strengthen their connections and support each other’s growth.

Online Counselling Services

For those seeking flexible and accessible therapy, Cheryl offers confidential online counselling. These virtual sessions allow clients to receive professional support from the comfort and safety of their own home, at a time that suits their schedule. Whether distance, health concerns or convenience are factors in your choice, online therapy can be an equally effective space for personal growth and healing.
