Prof. MC van Aardt – Gynaecologist & Gynaecologic Oncologist – Erasmuskloof brings over nineteen years of specialised expertise to her practice. She earned her MBChB from the University of Pretoria in 2004, and subsequently completed an MMed (O&G) and FCOG (SA) in 2012. Moreover, she achieved her Certificate in Gynaecological Oncology in 2016, solidifying her role as a subspecialist in women’s cancer care.

Since January 2018, Prof. van Aardt has led the obstetrics, general gynaecology, and gynaecological oncology unit at Mediclinic Kloof. Previously, from 2013 to 2017, she served at Femina Hospital, where she refined her skills in laparoscopic surgery and uro-gynaecology. Furthermore, she contributes to academic medicine as a consultant lecturer, mentoring junior specialists and presenting research at national conferences.
