Clinical Psychologist Slough
- Slough, UK
Psicon Canterbury has grown from a small clinical neuropsychology service founded in 1998 by LJ Conradie into one of the UK’s leading providers of neurodevelopmental and mental health care. Based in Canterbury, Kent, Psicon’s ethos remains rooted in empathy, understanding, and expert clinical support. The practice embraces the uniqueness of every mind, recognising that many people are neurodiverse and face challenges as a result. However, with the right care, Psicon believes everyone can thrive.
Originally established to deliver high-quality adult mental health and neurorehabilitation services, Psicon expanded its focus to include comprehensive support for neurodiverse children and adults. This growth was driven by Dan Simmonds, who joined as Psicon’s first full-time clinical psychologist in 2008. Together, Dan and LJ built a welcoming environment where clients feel safe, understood, and hopeful for the future.
Today, Psicon is part of the Onebright family, the UK’s foremost outpatient private mental health service. Despite this expansion, Psicon remains committed to delivering personalised, patient-centred care from its larger Canterbury premises.
Psicon offers a wide range of specialist services, delivered by a multidisciplinary team of over 150 professionals. Their expertise includes:

Psicon prides itself on fostering a compassionate, safe, and inclusive environment. Since joining the Onebright family in 2023, the practice has maintained its commitment to clinical excellence and innovation. Dan Simmonds continues to lead the centre as Managing Director, ensuring the service’s ongoing growth and quality.
