Description

Counselling with Richard Kershaw Reg. MBACP (Accred)

Welcome

Welcome to my counselling practice. Since 2010, I have supported individuals and couples through various life challenges, helping them create positive and lasting change. Change and growth are natural parts of life. However, sometimes obstacles arise. These may come from difficult situations, painful experiences, or strained relationships. These obstacles can make progress feel stuck or overwhelming.

In counselling, I work with you to gently remove those blockages. Together, we create space for your natural ability to grow and move forward. I offer a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental environment. Here, you can explore what feels difficult and find new ways to cope and thrive.

Are You Experiencing…

You may be facing challenges such as:

  • Difficulties in a relationship, or experiencing the end of one, especially if it feels similar to previous times.

  • Low mood or a lack of energy that affects your daily life.

  • Feeling constantly tired but unable to sleep well at night.

  • Becoming easily frustrated or snapping at loved ones or colleagues.

  • Worrying about daily tasks or facing particular problems with anxiety.

  • Stress related to work or difficult interactions with certain people.

  • Being bullied or feeling unfairly treated in your personal or professional life.

  • The loss of someone close, or the prospect of losing someone soon.

  • Navigating life stage transitions, whether in your family, home, or work environment.

If any of these issues have been going on for some time, counselling could offer a chance to truly understand what you have been carrying. It is an opportunity to hear yourself deeply, explore your feelings, and begin to discover what needs to unfold next in your life.

Why Choose Counselling?

Change can be hard, especially when you feel stuck or overwhelmed. Counselling provides a space where you can talk openly about your struggles without fear of judgement. It encourages reflection, understanding, and healing. Through our work together, you can begin to unblock emotional barriers and find your way forward with greater clarity and confidence.
