After qualifying, Rippon spent 10 years working in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. During this time, she gained experience in hospitals across the country. She also worked for five years as a Specialty Doctor in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Her role included time at the Royal London Hospital, where she served as an Honorary Clinical Lecturer. Because of this, she also guided and supported undergraduate dental training.

Building a Career in Surgery and Orthodontics

Rippon earned her Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of England. With a growing interest in jaw surgery, she decided to focus on orthodontics. She began higher specialist training at Birmingham Dental Hospital. Through dedication and skill, she achieved her Membership in Orthodontics at the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.

The General Dental Council recognises Rippon as a Specialist Orthodontist. She has examined overseas dentists for over 11 years with the General Dental Council and Royal College of Surgeons England.
