After graduating, Sacha gained valuable experience working in NHS hospitals and private clinics. She played a key role in setting up an acute physiotherapy service within A&E at Whipps Cross Hospital. She also worked in GP practices and specialized in lower back pain treatment. During this time, she collaborated with osteopaths and psychologists to provide a multidisciplinary approach to pain management.
Her passion for rehabilitation led her to complete postgraduate training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Acupuncture. She later pursued courses in Manipulation and Tui Na (Chinese Osteopathy), enhancing her ability to treat acute spinal conditions effectively.
Moving back to Bath in 2007, Sacha worked at Nuffield Health in Bristol alongside orthopedic and plastic surgeons. This experience deepened her expertise in post-operative rehabilitation, particularly for spinal and knee surgeries. Recognizing the importance of core strength, she obtained further Pilates certifications to support long-term recovery.
Sacha now leads Active Health, providing specialized physiotherapy and Pilates services. She stays up to date with the latest research and treatment techniques, including Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy for chronic tendon disorders.
