Description

Sandrina Haeck Clinical Psychologist in Fourways

About

Dr. Haeck, with qualifications from Medunsa (Hons), NWU (MSc Clin Psych), and currently enrolled in a PhD program with SSA, follows a Systemic therapeutic intervention approach. This comprehensive approach addresses the whole system rather than focusing on individual parts. Dr. Haeck’s perspective challenges the general trends in the mental health industry, aiming to mobilise individuals to be more effective and resourceful, rather than keeping them in perpetual therapy.

Having undergone extensive training at Weskoppies Psychiatric Institute, Dr. George Mukhari Hospital, Central Maximum C-Max security prison, and SANCA West Rand, Dr. Haeck is fully qualified to address systemic issues at every level. In her practice, she focuses on the role each family member plays in sustaining problems, particularly those revolving around a “target patient” or “Problem Child.”
