About Us

SCP Radiology is an independent, full-service radiology practice committed to providing high-quality diagnostic imaging and reports using state-of-the-art technology. With a strong focus on patient-centred care, we ensure that each patient receives the attention and comfort they deserve. This is evident in our use of wide-bore MR units designed for enhanced comfort, as well as our compassionate approach throughout the process. We take pride in offering timely, expert insights to referring clinicians, enabling them to provide effective treatment for their patients.

Our practice has expanded throughout the Western Cape, including the Northern Suburbs, CBD-City Bowl-Atlantic Seaboard, as well as the West Coast, Cape Winelands, and Breede River Valley regions.

SCP Radiology has a distinguished history, dating back to 1950 when Dr CJB Muller established the practice in Cape Town. Since then, we have expanded significantly, incorporating new technologies, and growing our team to include almost 30 radiologists and 120 radiographers. Our team continuously strives for excellence, with members holding international fellowships, gaining experience in subspecialties, and remaining dedicated to professional development.

We invest in the latest imaging technologies such as Picture Archiving and Communications Systems (PACS), Radiology Information Systems (RIS), and digital radiography, ensuring that we stay at the forefront of the industry.
