About Sharon Pienaar

I am a Registered Educational Psychologist and Counsellor, specialising in supporting children, adolescents, young adults, and families through various psychological challenges. My mission is to provide a safe and nurturing space where individuals can explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours while developing the skills necessary to reach their full potential.

I hold a BPsych, PGCE from the University of Cape Town (UCT), and a Master’s in Educational Psychology (MEdPsych) from Stellenbosch University. I also have over ten years of experience working across diverse settings, including NPOs, schools, and private practice.

My areas of special interest include neurodiversity, particularly autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and I have co-authored an article on the inclusion of learners with autism.
