About Eden Smith – Physiotherapist

Eden completed her Physiotherapy degree at the University of the Free State in 2015, gaining extensive experience while working in both the government and private healthcare sectors. Her passion lies in treating sports injuries, orthopaedic conditions, and women’s health, with a strong focus on patient education and rehabilitation.

Eden’s approach is holistic and personalised, ensuring each patient receives the right treatment to restore function and improve movement. She firmly believes that understanding how your body works is the key to long-term health and injury prevention.

General & Sports Physiotherapy

• Treatment for sports injuries, including muscle, tendon, and ligament damage
• Pre- and post-surgical rehabilitation
• Management of orthopaedic conditions such as back, neck, and joint pain

Women’s Health & Pre/Postnatal Care

• Available for new mothers and elderly patients who require care in the comfort of their own homes

Treatment Techniques

• Spinal and joint mobilisations
• Soft tissue massage
• Dry needling
• Electrotherapy (TENS, laser, ultrasound)
• Strapping (kinesiology and rigid taping)
• Movement re-education and exercise rehabilitation
• Relaxation techniques

Sessions last approximately 45 minutes.
