Welcome to Explore Empower Enrich, a dedicated space for healing, growth, and emotional wellbeing. Located in Newtown, I offer counselling and psychotherapy tailored to your individual needs.
My journey began in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (Honours). Early on, I volunteered in mental health care homes, which gave me insight into the lives of those struggling with daily challenges. This experience ignited a lifelong interest in mental health.
Later, I pursued a Master’s in Developmental Psychology. At the same time, I worked in education as a teacher and school leader. Outside of this role, I volunteered alongside psychologists and counsellors to gain hands-on experience.
Eventually, I formalised my training with a Diploma in Counselling Skills for Children & Adolescents. In 2015, I completed a Master of Counselling & Applied Psychotherapy, gaining extensive clinical experience. I am now PACFA-registered, committed to continuous learning and ethical practice.
I support clients dealing with anxiety, depression, low mood, grief, and trauma. Sessions are client-focused, flexible, and aim to develop self-awareness. Whether you are navigating life changes or managing ongoing difficulties, I offer a non-judgemental and supportive environment.
Since the body and mind are deeply connected, I also provide yoga-based therapy. In fact, research shows that specific yoga poses can ease anxiety, depression, and stress. I offer one-on-one and small group sessions to target mental health goals holistically.
To further support healing, I run retreats at Rolling Hills Retreat (www.RollingHillsRetreat.com.au). These retreats combine therapy, yoga, and relaxation in a tranquil environment. As a result, clients often report deeper recovery and greater clarity.
In addition to therapy, I deliver workshops on emotional resilience, healthy relationships, and mental wellbeing. I’ve worked with Virgin Active (Moore Park), BUPA, and DSA through Executive Mandala as a Senior Associate Business Coach. These sessions aim to promote mental health in professional settings.
Previously, I led anxiety and depression support groups at headspace Campbelltown. I also created a therapeutic program that is now used by staff and psychologists across the service. This reflects my ongoing commitment to community mental health.
Therapy is a shared journey. It begins with trust, continues with understanding, and leads to positive change. My aim is to guide you through this process with care and clarity.
You can attend sessions in Newtown or access therapy online. No matter your background or reason for seeking support, you are welcome here. Let’s take the next step—together.
