Hi, I’m Stephanie Allen, a qualified counsellor and life coach. Thank you for visiting my website. I’m pleased to have the opportunity to share a little about myself and my approach to counselling. I hope this information helps you determine if my style of therapy feels like the right fit for you.
I offer a warm, welcoming space for individuals to explore a wide range of issues, particularly those I specialise in. These areas include:
Historical Childhood Sexual Abuse, Rape, & Trauma
Victims of Narcissistic Abuse
Loss & Bereavement
Quieting the Inner Critic
Life Coaching
I provide both counselling and life coaching services designed to empower individuals in their personal growth journey. Below is an overview of how I can support you:
If you have experienced childhood sexual abuse, rape, or narcissistic abuse, my approach is rooted in empathy and non-judgement. Together, we can work through the emotional pain, helping you gain a deeper understanding of your experiences and finding healthy ways to cope. The aim is to create a safe space where you can process difficult emotions at your own pace.
Grief is a natural, yet often overwhelming, response to loss. Whether you are mourning the death of a loved one or experiencing the end of a significant relationship, I can offer compassionate guidance. My goal is to support you in navigating the complex emotions of loss, helping you to heal in your own time and in your own way.
In addition to counselling, I offer life coaching services designed to support you in personal development. If you’re facing challenges in your personal or professional life, we can work together to identify your strengths, overcome obstacles, and set clear, achievable goals. My coaching style encourages self-reflection and growth, empowering you to make meaningful, lasting changes.
Many individuals struggle with a harsh inner critic that undermines their self-worth. If you’ve experienced a negative inner dialogue that holds you back from living your fullest life, I can help. We will work together to identify the source of these critical thoughts and develop strategies to quiet them, allowing you to embrace self-compassion and build a more positive self-image.
At our first meeting, we will conduct an assessment to better understand your current difficulties and your therapeutic goals. This will help me determine whether I am the right counsellor for you. It’s equally important that you feel comfortable and confident in working with me, so this assessment is also your opportunity to decide if my approach resonates with you.
If we decide that counselling is right for you, we will review a verbal contract to ensure you feel safe and supported throughout the process. My approach is highly non-judgemental, meaning I don’t criticise or condemn you for your past or present experiences. Instead, I view everyone as unique, recognising that each person responds to their environment in different ways. This understanding shapes the way I work, focusing on your individual needs and helping you uncover the answers within yourself.
I don’t give advice; instead, I help you explore your inner world, gain clarity, and find your own path forward. I truly believe that you are the expert of your own life, and my role is to guide you in discovering what heals and empowers you.
If you’re ready to take the next step towards personal growth and healing, feel free to reach out for a free consultation. Together, we can work on the changes that will help you move forward with confidence.
