Dr. Tsepiso Mhlane, originally from KwaZulu Natal, completed her MBChB at Nelson Mandela Medical School. She gained valuable experience during her internship at Steve Biko Academic Hospital and Tshwane District Hospital in Pretoria. After her community service with the South African Defence Force, her passion for psychiatry grew.

Joining the University of Witwatersrand Psychiatric circuit, Dr. Mhlane completed rotations in government psychiatric facilities and community clinics in Southern Gauteng. She holds an MMed (Wits) and a Fellowship in Psychiatry from the Colleges of Medicine in South Africa (FCPsych-SA).

With a particular interest in women’s mental health, Dr. Mhlane provides support for women facing societal pressures, balancing multiple responsibilities. And dealing with postpartum depression. She specialises in adolescent psychiatric conditions and offers therapeutic support for various psychiatric problems, including depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, eating disorders, psychotic disorders, ADHD, and substance use disorders.
