As Deputy Clinical Lead on the General Psychiatry Team, Vanessa Phillip Psychodynamic Therapist London plays a vital leadership role. She facilitates a wide range of adult therapy groups and provides both intensive one-to-one therapy and long-term psychodynamic treatment. Whether working with inpatients or outpatients, Vanessa remains focused on improving mental health outcomes.
With over five years of hands-on experience, Vanessa is a core member of the psychodynamic team. She consistently supports individuals with complex emotional challenges. Her empathetic and structured approach provides clients with the tools to manage conditions such as anxiety, depression, psychosis, and trauma.
Vanessa works with adults facing a spectrum of emotional and psychological conditions. She has a special interest in supporting those who experienced difficult childhoods. Furthermore, she helps clients struggling with identity, grief, stress, and relationship difficulties. Her work extends to treating mood disorders, trauma-related symptoms, and personality disorders.

Vanessa received her psychodynamic training from Enfield Counselling and Psychotherapy Service, accredited by the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC).
