About Us

Mr Hector Walker and Mr Jonathan Hall are two highly experienced physiotherapists with a combined 60 years of practice. Both are members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP) and have made significant contributions to physiotherapy services across the northwest. Together, they established Ormskirk Physiotherapy Centre in 1991, followed by Rodney Street Physiotherapy Services in 1996 and St Helens Physiotherapy Service in 1997.

Hector graduated from Liverpool School of Physiotherapy in 1985. He has since specialised in neuro-musculoskeletal physiotherapy, working in hospitals, private practice, and the sports and industrial sectors. His focus is on evidence-based treatments, ensuring the best care for his patients. Hector values professional conduct and places patient care at the core of his practice.

Jonathan graduated from Salford School of Physiotherapy in 1983. Over the years, he has honed his clinical skills in musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Jonathan completed a postgraduate course in 1990, becoming a member of the Manipulation Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MACP). He is passionate about teaching and training future physiotherapists, both pre- and post-graduation.

• Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy
  Jonathan is skilled in treating joint, muscle, and soft tissue conditions. His use of manipulation techniques, combined with a deep understanding of biomechanics, ensures thorough care for both acute and chronic conditions.

• Sports Injury Rehabilitation
  Both Hector and Jonathan have vast experience working with athletes. They specialise in treating sports injuries, particularly in football, boxing, and athletics. Their goal is to ensure safe and efficient recovery, tailored to the specific needs of each sport.

• Advanced Rider Scheme (ERS)
  Jonathan is the only Chartered Physiotherapist in the UK listed on the DSA Register of Post-Test Motorcycle Trainers (RPMT). He provides training for motorcyclists through the Enhanced Rider Scheme (ERS), helping riders improve safety and skills.
