Owensis Sports Therapy Clinic Gloucester works in partnership with Warners Health Club & Physio Hull, delivering exceptional physiotherapy and sports therapy services. The clinic is led by founder Keith Warner MSc (MCSP), whose career in sports medicine spans over three decades. His work combines elite-level clinical experience, research, and healthcare strategy.
Keith trained at Leeds University and began his career in the NHS. He then worked as a physiotherapist with Hull Kingston Rovers before joining the Football Association (FA) Rehabilitation Centre at Lilleshall. There, he treated world-class athletes, managing both injury rehabilitation and physical conditioning.
Later, Keith dedicated over 20 years to roles at Hull FC, Great Britain Rugby League, and Hull City FC. He also led sports medicine for all age groups in GB Ice Hockey. His experience spans a wide range of sports and performance disciplines.
In addition, he toured with the World XI Cricket Team, supported World Championship Boxers, and provided care to professionals in the performing arts. Notably, he served as Lead Clinician at the 1991 World Student Games in Sheffield.
Owensis Sports Therapy Clinic offers comprehensive care across multiple areas of physiotherapy and sports medicine. Keith Warner has particular expertise in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, with a deep understanding of knee and shoulder injuries. His approach blends manual therapy with exercise-based recovery.

Keith also promotes the use of exercise in treating mental health conditions, supporting the elderly, and assisting cancer recovery.
Beyond clinical practice, Keith has made a significant impact in healthcare strategy. For over 20 years, he was Clinical Director at Smith & Nephew Health Care. There, he developed strategy across research, product development, and sales in orthopaedics and sports medicine.
Today, Keith brings this wealth of knowledge to Owensis Sports Therapy Clinic. Whether you’re a professional athlete, recovering from surgery, or seeking to improve your physical health, you will receive expert, evidence-based care rooted in decades of experience.
