Western Cape Association of and for Persons with Disabilities (WCAPD)
About Us
The Western Cape Association of and for Persons with Disabilities (WCAPD) is a registered Non-Profit and Public Benefit Organisation committed to advocating for the rights, inclusion, and empowerment of persons with disabilities in the Western Cape.
Our mission is to promote equality, dignity, and accessibility for individuals with disabilities by addressing key challenges such as employment, healthcare, social inclusion, and accessibility. We strive to build a society where diversity is valued, and all individuals have the opportunity to participate fully and thrive.
As a leading advocate for disability rights, we align our work with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to drive meaningful change. By collaborating with government agencies, community organisations, and businesses, we work to remove barriers and create inclusive environments.
Join us in building a more accessible and equitable Western Cape. Together, we can ensure that persons with disabilities are empowered to lead independent, fulfilling lives.
