Yasmin King Psychotherapist London is not just a title, but the foundation of my therapeutic journey. My inspiration to train as a counsellor and psychotherapist came directly from a pivotal moment in my life. At a time when I needed it most, receiving counselling had a profound and lasting impact on me. That experience opened the door to a new path—one that I felt deeply called to follow.
In 2010, I began training at CCPE (The Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education) and became a qualified Transpersonal Integrative Psychotherapist and clinical supervisor. Throughout this intensive period of learning, I developed a strong focus on working with trauma and transcultural identity.
Additionally, I pursued extensive training in EMDR therapy and trauma-focused bodywork. These tools are especially effective in helping those suffering from complex trauma and PTSD. My approach integrates both the emotional and somatic dimensions of healing, offering a more complete path to recovery.
Because the field of psychotherapy is constantly evolving, I stay informed with the latest research and evidence-based methods. I apply new knowledge in ways that are practical and relevant for clients. Moreover, I commit to ongoing professional development to deepen my practice and broaden the support I can offer.
In addition to working with individuals in private practice, I also serve as a group facilitator and supervisor at CCPE in London. This work allows me to remain actively involved in the psychotherapeutic community and contribute to the development of future practitioners.
Every person’s experience is unique, and I aim to provide a compassionate, grounded space where clients can safely explore their inner worlds. By combining established methods with a transpersonal framework, I support clients in moving toward greater clarity, resilience, and self-awareness.
