Janie Neethling completed her Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MB,ChB) at the University of Stellenbosch in 2014. She then moved on to her internship at Tygerberg Hospital. After finishing her community service year at Ceres Hospital, she worked as a Medical Officer at Bredasdorp Hospital. This diverse experience enabled her to gain expertise in various areas, including pediatrics, geriatrics, psychiatry, and performing small surgical procedures. Additionally, it gave her a well-rounded understanding of the medical field, shaping her approach to patient care.
In 2018, She expanded her medical practice to include obstetrics and gynaecology. She worked as a Medical Officer in this field at Paarl Hospital and Worcester Hospital. During this time, she trained under highly respected gynaecologists, gaining valuable insights into women’s health. This hands-on experience deepened her understanding of pre-natal care, gynecological treatments, and handling complications during pregnancy. She became passionate about supporting women through every stage of life, from adolescence to menopause.
