Dr Nic Rogers is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon who specialises in hip and knee replacement surgery, foot and ankle disorders, and general orthopaedic trauma. He is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-focused care that restores mobility and enhances quality of life.
Originally from KwaZulu-Natal, Dr Rogers attended Hilton College before earning his medical degree at WITS University. He later moved to Cape Town to complete his orthopaedic surgery training. In 2019, he became a specialist, graduating Cum Laude from Stellenbosch University. His research on shoulder and elbow surgery is published in the American Journal of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery.
To expand his expertise, Dr Rogers trained in foot and ankle disorders at the Princess Elizabeth Orthopaedic Centre in the United Kingdom. Afterward, he returned to Cape Town for advanced hip and knee replacement Fellowship training at Tygerberg Hospital.
Currently, he holds a part-time position at Karl Bremer Hospital, where he launched a hip and knee replacement service. He also mentors junior doctors and strives to make orthopaedic surgery more accessible.
Dr Rogers provides expert orthopaedic care across a range of conditions. He creates individualised treatment plans to help patients recover quickly and effectively.
