Mr. Mehra graduated in 1996 and completed core training in gynaecology in London. He trained at prestigious institutions, including St Bartholomew’s, St George’s, Queen Charlotte’s, and Chelsea & Hammersmith Hospitals. Additionally, he underwent advanced training in complex gynaecological pelvic surgery, with a focus on laparoscopic surgery. In 2012, he completed specialist training at Guy’s and St Thomas’ and The Kent Oncology Centre in Maidstone. Mr. Mehra became a Consultant at Guy’s and St Thomas’ in 2014.

Mr. Mehra leads the Rapid-Access one-stop outpatient clinic and the gynaecology group for BRCA mutation at Guy’s and St Thomas’. He is actively pursuing a PhD in robotics at King’s College, focusing on innovations in robotic surgery. His research includes laparoscopic surgery, new techniques in sentinel lymph node detection for gynaecological cancers, and fertility-preserving treatments. Mr. Mehra is also the Principal Investigator for the PROTECTOR multicenter research trial at Guy’s and St Thomas’.
