Established in 2004 by friends and experienced physiotherapists Lynne Falconer and Sally Kiddie, Heal Physiotherapy Limited has become a trusted name in musculoskeletal and sports injury treatment in Dundee. What began within a medical centre has steadily evolved. In 2008, Heal acquired an existing physiotherapy business and relocated to City Quay, marking a significant phase of growth.
In 2018, after ten successful years, the business expanded once more. On Monday, 25th June, Heal opened the doors to its newly renovated premises at 14 Dudhope Street, Dundee. This move was a key milestone, offering larger, modern facilities while maintaining the personal care and clinical excellence clients have long valued.
Heal Physiotherapy offers a comprehensive range of services, each tailored to support clients on their individual path to recovery and wellness. Our primary offerings include:
Physiotherapy: Treatment for acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions with evidence-based, patient-centred care.
Massage Therapy: Soft tissue techniques to relieve tension, support injury recovery, and promote circulation.
Modified Pilates: Rehabilitative exercise programmes to enhance posture, flexibility, and core stability, particularly beneficial for those recovering from injury or dealing with chronic conditions.
In addition to these core services, we provide several specialist treatments to meet growing client needs:
On-site Orthopaedic Consultations: Access to consultant opinions without long NHS waiting times.
Sports Medicine Services: Tailored support for amateur and elite athletes.
Steroid Injections: Targeted pain relief for joint and soft tissue inflammation.
Diagnostic Imaging Referrals: Direct access to CT and MRI scans for timely diagnosis and care planning.
Heal Physiotherapy has built strong collaborative ties across the region. At Saints Sport in St Andrews, Heal provides self-referral, self-funded physiotherapy services to students, athletes, staff, and local residents. We also support the University of St Andrews’ occupational health service one day per week.
In partnership with SportScotland, our team delivers physiotherapy for Tayside and Fife-based athletes at the Regional Performance Centre for Sport. We work closely with a multidisciplinary team, helping athletes achieve peak performance while minimising injury risk.
Our reputation for excellence has also earned recognition. In 2014, Heal Physiotherapy received the Most Enterprising Business Award from Women Ahead and the Association of Scottish Businesswomen. The following year, we were finalists in the Business of the Year Award.
Whether you are seeking recovery from injury, support with a long-term condition, or optimising athletic performance, Heal Physiotherapy Dundee is with you every step of the way. With expert care, state-of-the-art facilities, and a dedicated team, we aim to help every client feel better, move better, and live better.
