Roots Psychology Group provides clinical assessment and psychological therapy to children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. Dr Mason’s expertise covers depression, anxiety, self-harm, attachment issues, and developmental trauma in young people. Additionally, she offers Walk & Talk therapy sessions, incorporating the benefits of nature into the therapeutic process, which can help clients feel more relaxed and open during sessions.
Beyond individual therapy, Dr Mason offers training, consultation, and supervision to healthcare professionals, educators, social care workers, and voluntary sector colleagues. She is an approved PACE (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, Empathy) trainer through ‘DDP Connects UK’.
Dr Mason also designs and delivers psycho-educational and preventative programmes aimed at helping young people develop resilience and manage difficult emotions in engaging and practical ways. As a certified Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Instructor with MHFA England, she provides accredited training courses for both youth and adults. Furthermore, she creates bespoke training packages tailored for businesses, schools, and charities to support mental health awareness and wellbeing.
Roots Psychology Group is committed to offering flexible, client-centred therapy that meets individual needs. Dr Mason’s willingness to take sessions outdoors and integrate innovative approaches demonstrates her dedication to creating a supportive environment for positive change.
