Laura is an experienced integrative counsellor and psychotherapist with over 10 years of work supporting vulnerable children and adults. She specialises in helping survivors of domestic and sexual abuse, trauma, and PTSD. Throughout her career, Laura has taken on roles such as Children’s Therapy Service Manager, Crisis Worker, Sexual Violence Counsellor for adults and young people, and Case Manager for children and young persons (CYP).
Holding an MScI in Forensic & Investigative Psychology and a degree in Counselling, Laura combines strong academic knowledge with practical experience. She is also a qualified Young Person Violence Advisor (YPVA), a trained mental health first aider, and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), with over 500 clinical hours.
Laura grew up across several countries, including Borneo, California, Norway, and England. Additionally, she spent significant time in Italy, Brazil, and Australia. This broad cultural background helps her connect with clients from diverse communities and deliver culturally sensitive therapy.
