His career began in Hobart, Tasmania, where he worked in a busy, multidisciplinary clinic for two and a half years. This valuable time provided early exposure to a variety of patient needs and treatment methods. In 1994, Mark returned to Adelaide to pursue further studies and begin surgical training. During this time, he supported several leading podiatric surgeons, gaining hands-on experience across a broad range of surgical procedures involving the foot and ankle.
