Dr Zara Khalique GP Leeds UK contributes significantly to a dynamic, student-focused medical practice that delivers exceptional healthcare and advanced GP training. We provide primary care services to over 44,000 students across Leeds while helping shape the next generation of General Practitioners. Consequently, our dual focus ensures both high-quality treatment and strong clinical education.
GP Registrars are experienced doctors transitioning from hospital medicine to General Practice. However, adapting to community-based care requires hands-on learning and mentorship. For this reason, our practice provides real-world experience guided by senior clinicians.
Moreover, Registrars work directly with patients and receive immediate, structured feedback. In addition, they refine skills in clinical reasoning, communication, and chronic care management. As a result, they complete their training with the confidence to lead in any primary care setting.
Our practice includes 21 doctors—14 female and 7 male—who bring varied expertise and a shared commitment to General Practice. Furthermore, our team thrives in a high-demand setting, supporting student health with energy and compassion.
Likewise, we value a patient-first approach. Despite our size, each clinician provides consistent and thoughtful care. For this reason, students feel heard, respected, and supported throughout their time with us.
We proudly serve a student population of more than 44,000 across Leeds’ universities and colleges. Consequently, our services are tailored to meet young adult health needs—including sexual health, mental wellbeing, chronic condition management, and preventative screenings.
In addition to our clinical staff, we employ over 70 support professionals who ensure efficient day-to-day operations. Moreover, they handle bookings, prescriptions, records, and queries with speed and professionalism. Hence, our students benefit from reliable, well-organised healthcare.
Although we manage one of the UK’s largest student lists, we stay committed to personal, accessible care. In contrast to larger, impersonal systems, we build trust and continuity into every interaction.
