Driven to specialise further, Catherine transitioned to Sheffield, taking on new rotational roles. She worked on the Cardiology ward and the Hyper Acute Stroke Unit (HASU) and Neurological Assessment Unit (NAU). Here, Catherine performed critical neurological assessments for stroke patients. These evaluations helped shape safe, person-centered discharge plans and informed her growing interest in functional rehabilitation.

Later, Catherine earned a senior role in the Community Stroke Service. Blending Independent and Community Work

Currently, Catherine splits her time between her role in the Community Stroke Service and her independent practice. Catherine has a particular passion for working with older adults and has delivered Falls Prevention training in multiple assisted living and sheltered housing settings.
