Bijayendra Singh Orthopaedic Surgeon Maidstone is a name synonymous with excellence in upper limb orthopaedics in Kent and the South East of England. Professor Bijayendra Singh—fondly known as Bijay or BJ—brings decades of experience, a patient-first philosophy, and world-class training to every consultation and surgery.
Professor Singh qualified in 1992 from Maharaja Sayajirao University, Vadodara, India. He earned his Masters in Orthopaedics by 1995. Following this, he served as a Lecturer before pursuing Higher Specialist Training in South East Thames, UK. He completed an elite fellowship at the Perth Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine Centre and another at the Kleinert & Kutz Hand Institute, USA.
These training experiences strengthened his skills in both trauma and upper limb surgery. He now brings that global knowledge to Maidstone and the wider Kent area.
Professor Singh specializes in diagnosing and treating conditions of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand. These include:

Tennis elbow, trapped nerves, and stiff elbows
Carpal tunnel syndrome and Dupuytren’s contracture
