Description
Nicole Miller Integrative Psychotherapist Surrey – A Compassionate, Embodied Approach
Nicole Miller Integrative Psychotherapist Surrey brings a deeply relational, body-informed approach to therapy. I meet each person exactly where they are. I build relationships grounded in equality, compassion, empowerment, and unconditional positive regard. Through this, I encourage clients to explore body-based experiences. This process fosters trauma resolution, emotional regulation, and mind-body integration. As a result, clients often experience clearer perception, healthier relationships, and increased resilience.
Professional Role at the Priory
Alongside my private practice, I work as an integrative therapist at the Priory. My accreditation with both UKCP and BACP supports the professional and ethical foundation of my work. Working with diverse client needs, I integrate multiple therapeutic models to support lasting growth and transformation.
Training and Qualifications
I hold an MA and a diploma in Transpersonal Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy. Both qualifications come from the Centre of Counselling and Psychotherapy Education (CCPE) in London and are validated by the University of Northampton. In addition, I hold A-level qualifications in Psychology. This educational journey has enriched my practice with academic depth and embodied wisdom.
Nicole Miller Integrative Psychotherapist Surrey – Rooted in Research and Movement
My MA research explored The Discipline of Authentic Movement. This practice draws on intuitive, kinesthetic sensing to access the body’s innate wisdom. Rather than starting with thought, I investigated what happens when movement leads expression. My research asked: How does embodied movement deepen our awareness of our essential nature?
The results pointed to powerful truths. When we prioritize movement and sensory experience, we shift from conceptual thinking to embodied knowing. This fosters a more holistic, intuitive awareness. Western culture often favors rationality. However, I value the feminine qualities of intuition, sensation, and nonlinearity. These dimensions reconnect us to our bodies, to others, and to the natural world.
