Rosie Whiting is an experienced and passionate podiatrist with a broad clinical background and a deep commitment to her patients’ health and mobility. Growing up on a farm in Western Victoria, Rosie developed an appreciation for an active, outdoors lifestyle early on. She later moved to Melbourne to pursue her studies at La Trobe University, where she completed her podiatric training.
Rosie’s clinical interest is supported by an extensive background in athletic footwear, which enhances her approach to assessing biomechanics and injury prevention. Her experience allows her to make informed footwear recommendations and deliver tailored podiatric solutions for active individuals.
As an active member of the Australasian Podiatric Surgeons Academy, Rosie stays up to date with the latest advances in podiatric medicine. She is also an Endorsed Podiatrist, meaning she is qualified to prescribe medications and provide corticosteroid injections for foot and ankle conditions — including heel pain and plantar fasciitis.
Rosie provides a wide range of podiatric services, with a focus on:
Injury Prevention & Management in Female Athletes
Rosie is particularly passionate about supporting female athletes. She designs evidence-based management plans that aim to prevent injury and support long-term physical performance.
Foot Mobilisation and Manipulation
Rosie utilises hands-on techniques to improve foot joint mobility and function. This treatment can relieve discomfort and support improved movement patterns.
Running Technique & Gait Analysis
Drawing from her own running background and footwear expertise, Rosie offers detailed running assessments. She analyses stride, form, and footwear to reduce injury risk and optimise performance.
Injection Therapy
Rosie is certified to provide corticosteroid injections for various conditions including heel and ankle pain. These treatments are ideal for patients seeking targeted, non-surgical relief.
Rosie doesn’t just talk about staying active — she lives it. Outside the clinic, she enjoys beach outings and running, often with her daughter, Charlotte, in tow. Rosie has taken on impressive endurance challenges such as the Sydney Marathon and the 100km Oxfam Trailwalker, and she’s already planning her next event.
Her lived experience as both a podiatrist and endurance athlete uniquely positions her to understand the needs of her patients. Whether it’s managing chronic foot conditions, rehabilitating an injury, or preparing for an athletic event, Rosie takes a holistic, supportive approach.
Rosie currently consults at our Geelong and Newtown clinics. To book an appointment, please phone 1300 945 789 or use our online booking system.
